Stacy Newbern completed her undergraduate degree at Austin Peay University, Clarksville, Tennessee. She received her graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at University of Alaska, Anchorage, Alaska. She held National Board Certification as a Wound and Ostomy Nurse Specialist and spent five years in Alaska working in an outpatient and inpatient wound care clinic providing patient care and community education to Alaskan Natives and Alaska transplants. After relocating back to the lower 48, she spent two years in rural Montana working as an urgent care and family nurse practitioner on the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation before returning to Tennessee and joining Surgical Alliance.
Stacy's goal is to provide each patient with individualized, personal care and attention. She recognizes that providing quality healthcare is more than just treating the disease. She strives to provide compassionate care and patient education in ways that best meet the individual's needs while meeting the highest standard of professionalism.
